You can review our concrete pad recommendation HERE.
Installation of the concrete pad would need to be arranged by the customer. Consult local building codes or licensed contractors for specific recommendations.
Brasco offers concrete pad design and analysis through a third-party structural engineer. If you are interested in this service, please contact our sales team by email at info@brasco.com or calling 313-393-0393 extension 203.
Anodizing is an electrochemical process that creates a durable and corrosion-resistant layer on the surface of aluminum. It involves immersing the aluminum in an acid electrolyte bath and passing an electric current through it. This process causes the aluminum to oxidize and form a protective layer of aluminum oxide on the surface. The resulting anodized finish is integral to the metal and cannot peel or chip off.
Powder coating is a dry finishing process where a fine powder of color pigment and resin is electrostatically applied to the surface of the metal (in this case, aluminum). The coated part is then cured in an oven, which causes the powder to melt and form a smooth and durable finish. Powder coating is available in a wide range of colors and finishes. Depending on the product, a powder coat painted finish or anodized finish will be recommended. Brasco’s Slimline, Executive, and Monumental Series Shelters are offered in an anodized aluminum finish. Products that require welding are only available in a powder coat painted finish. Brasco has created Brasco Clear and Brasco Bronze powder coat paint that match the clear anodized and dark bronze anodized finish.
You can review Brasco’s anodized finish options HERE and our powder coat paint options HERE.
Yes, Brasco does offer custom powder coat paint colors. To match a custom color, we will need the CMYK, RBG, or Pantone color code to provide our powder coat paint vendor. Custom powder coat paint colors are subject to additional fees.

Absolutely! We can provide extra roof support for a green roof on our bus shelters. Green roofs, also known as a living roof, provide space for live plants to grow on the structures roof. Shelter models with sloped or flat roofs are best for this – try our Slimline Shed or Eclipse Sloped for your green roof initiative.
Incorporating effective wayfinding solutions into our bus shelters is a specialty at Brasco. We understand the importance of providing clear navigation for passengers. We do recommend installing our shelters on level concrete pads. However, we understand that is not always possible and have adjustable anchor boot solutions on certain bus shelter lines that can accommodate approximately 3-4 inches of adjustability. We do offer custom anchor boots if you need more adjustability. Please check with our sales team to make sure the bus shelter model you are interested in has anchor boot adjustability.
Our design team is skilled in integrating technology into our shelter designs. We commonly integrate lighting elements, charging ports, advertising displays, and wayfinding housing into our shelter designs. Our sales and design teams are happy to work with customers to provide custom solutions for specific technology requirements.
