Brasco International

American Made. American Trusted. Since 1993.

Since 1993 Brasco has supplied and installed thousands of shelters, offering standard "off-the-shelf" options as well as custom designs.

Our team works closely under one roof and is comprised of the Sales, Engineering, Operations, Logistics, Human Resources, Project Management, and Manufacturing teams. Brasco is based out of Madison Heights, MI, where we do all machining, assembling and powder coating in-house.

Brasco began in the mid-1800’s as a designer and fabricator of high-end copper storefronts, offering dozens of patented extrusions for retrofit store designs. The company was headquartered in Chicago, IL, with a remote facility in Hamilton, Ontario. While the company still serves the retail sector with entrance canopies and shopping cart corrals, our primary market has shifted to the public transit industry, with its growing demand for freestanding shelters and solar lighting.

We have history

Over the past 30 years, Brasco has transitioned from being a traditional shelter manufacturer to a one-stop supplier of all things bus stop. We’ve partnered with industry leaders of digital signage, remote monitoring controllers and LED lighting, to provide a simplified purchasing experience at the most competitive prices. By integrating these technologies upfront, we reduce field labor and cost for our customers, avoid poor aftermarket retrofits, and provide a vandal-resistant design that’s ready for the street.

We have integrity

Reputation is Priority

We believe that operating with integrity and transparency is vital to the health of the public transit industry and necessary to maintain fair and honest competition.

All levels of our business function under these values, as quality products and a quality reputation, are the highest priorities for our team. All products are proudly made in the USA and meet Buy America requirements. Brasco is an iWay Certified Supplier, meeting the highest-level international operating requirements for environmental and social impacts in the workplace.
