Space Saving Bike Shelter for SUNY
SUNY, Albany, New York
The State University of New York (SUNY) contracted Brasco to design a slender profiled bike shelter for the university’s campus. SUNY liked the look of Brasco’s existing Shade shelter but required some modifications to suit their budget & engineering specifications. The result was Brasco’s custom design of the Axle. The Axle features a multi-spoke hub that supports a polycarbonate canopy roof. It’s frame is fabricated from recycled no-rust aluminum and powder coated in a less than 1% VOC finish. Options include a solar lighting kit, and accessories include bike racks, trash cans, and benches. Shown here in Signal Red.
