Executive Series Shelters for University of Iowa

On behalf of the University of Iowa, Vieth Construction collaborated with our team at Brasco to design a series of passenger-waiting shelters for its students and staff. The design of the shelters come from our Executive Series Shelter. Our Executive Series implements the same fundamental design as our Slimline Series but has larger aluminum column extrusions; perfect for expansive shelter designs or areas with high wind and snow loads. The overhanging roof is provides both function for additional overhead coverage and is a notable design element throughout the series of shelters designed for University of Iowa.
Each shelter is filled with custom amenities for patrons to enjoy including our Pedestal bench, LED-lit advertisement display case, and heaters. Additionally, the shelters feature push-button operated heaters, great for keeping waiting passengers comfortable during the winter months. Two additional shelters will be added to the campus later this year.
