The City of El Paso and Sun Metro Transit awarded a contract to Brasco for the manufacturing and delivery of 600 custom, solar powered steel transit shelters with advertising displays, bike racks, benches, trash receptacles and schedule holders. The project required a custom shelter, modular in design and with a limited number of components that would be easy to maintain and replace as needed with a variety of glazing treatments and a custom powder coated finish. The contract is for a five-year term with approximately 250 shelters delivered to date.
