Central Ohio Transit Authority Bus Rapid Transit Shelter

COTA launched its first Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) line in 2018. Brasco was fortunate enough to fabricate the custom shelter and marker as the new line’s prototype. COTA and Brasco worked with OHM architects to finalize the end result and the BRT line is projected to go live in January 2018. The marker is 18’ tall with illuminated logo, up-lighting, backlighting, down-lighting, map cases, and two LCD screens. The shelter is 28’ long and features a bench, leaning rail, heater, and security lighting. The designs are fabricated from aluminum and powder coated in White Aluminum and Ultra Marine Blue. All products are made in the USA and meet Buy America requirements.
