The original design for the City of Beloit’s new Transfer Facility included a walkway that attached to the building. When the project estimate exceeded the budget, the customer contacted our team and began to explore options.
The result was a passenger shelter design that incorporated multiple welded columns with trim blocks and arch tops and a Victorian roof built with 5/4 cedar interior and dimensional shingles to match the building. Roof ends incorporate a CNC milled Beloit Logo plate as a finishing touch.
