Brasco International won the competitive bid for designing and manufacturing Transit Shelters for Capital Area Transportation Authority in Lansing, Michigan. CATA was looking for an updated transit shelter design, different from their current standard shelters. As Brasco has been a long-standing supplier of transit shelters for CATA, we were able to offer them a modern twist to their standard Slimline Series Shelters with our Eclipse Series Shelter. Our Eclipse Series Shelter offers contemporary design that modernizes any bus stop. This shelter series can be customized to our clients’ needs through changes in dimensions, color choices, and upgrades such as our Solar Lighting Package with USB Charging Station and Two-Sided Ad-Box.
The Arched Eclipse Series Shelter that we provided CATA was 8’ x 20’ and included a front-windscreen, powder coat painted Pine Green aluminum finish to implement Michigan State University branding into the structure, an Eclipse Series Bench, LED Lit Advertising Box, USB Port, and Solar Powered ConnectPoint 10 Signage which provides passengers with CATA’s bus schedule with real-time updates. The glass panels included a vinyl graphic which displayed the Michigan State University Spartan logo. From start to finish, Brasco works with each of our clients to find the best solutions for their projects needs. Each transit shelter project is unique and at Brasco, we have the capabilities and experience to guide our clients through each stage of the process.
